Terms of Service
The short version: you own your content, AI drafts are a starting point you review before submitting, subscriptions renew until you cancel, and the only funding promise we make is the Win Guarantee — which has its own terms.

Who we are, and your agreement with us
1.1Grant Wizard ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered grant-writing platform that helps nonprofits, startups, and social enterprises discover funding opportunities and draft grant proposals. Grant Wizard is built and operated by Grant Master.
1.2These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Grant Wizard website, mobile app, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation, and "you" means that organisation.
1.3If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

The Service
2.1What Grant Wizard does. The Service matches your organisation to funding opportunities and uses AI to generate proposal drafts, budgets, and related content based on the information you provide.
2.2What Grant Wizard does not do. Grant applications are submitted on each funder’s own website or portal — not through Grant Wizard. We do not submit applications for you, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and a funder.
2.3AI output is a starting point, not a final product. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing all AI-generated content before relying on it or submitting it to a funder. AI output may contain errors or omissions. Nothing in the Service is legal, financial, or professional advice.
2.4No promise of funding. Except as expressly provided in the separate Win Guarantee Terms (which apply only to the Growth Annual plan), we make no promise that you will win any grant, prize, fellowship, or other funding.

Your account
3.1You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
3.2You agree to provide accurate information when you register and to keep it up to date. Eligibility-critical information about your organisation (such as registration status, sector, and country) must be materially accurate — several features, including grant matching and the Win Guarantee, depend on it.
3.3You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.
3.4One account per person. You may manage multiple organisations from a single account where your plan allows it.
4.
Plans, credits, and billing
4.1Plans. The Service is offered on a Free plan and on paid plans (Pro and Growth), billed monthly or annually. Current prices, limits, and inclusions are shown on the pricing page and at checkout.
4.2Credits. Paid features consume credits. Credit allowances refresh each billing period and follow the rollover rules shown in the app. Credits have no cash value and are not redeemable or transferable.
4.3Billing and renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period and are charged to your saved payment method via our payment processors (Paystack, and Selar for some international purchases). You can cancel renewal at any time in Settings; your plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for.
4.4Refunds. Except where required by law — and except for the separate Win Guarantee on Growth Annual — payments are non-refundable once a billing period has started.
4.5Price changes. We may change prices with at least 14 days’ notice. Changes take effect at your next renewal; they are never applied retroactively to a period you have already paid for.
5.
The Win Guarantee and the Win Reward
5.1The Win Guarantee (Growth Annual only) and the Win Reward Program (all paid plans) are governed by their own terms, which form part of your agreement with us when you participate: the Win Guarantee Terms and the Win Reward Program Terms.
5.2If anything in those documents conflicts with these Terms, the more specific document governs for that program.
6.
Your content
6.1You own your content. Proposals, drafts, budgets, organisation information, and files you create or upload remain yours.
6.2Licence to operate the Service. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, display, and transmit your content solely to provide and improve the Service — for example, storing your proposals, generating drafts from your organisation profile, and backing up data.
6.3We do not use your content to train third-party foundation models. See the Privacy Policy for full details of how your data is handled.
6.4Testimonials. If you claim a Win Reward, the separate testimonial consent in the Win Reward Program Terms applies. We will never feature your story without that consent.
6.5Your responsibility. You confirm that content you upload does not infringe anyone’s rights and that information you submit to funders through proposals generated with the Service is truthful. Submitting fraudulent or materially misleading applications is a breach of these Terms.
7.
Acceptable use
7.1You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to prepare fraudulent or materially misleading funding applications;
- reverse-engineer, scrape, or programmatically extract the Service or its outputs at scale, or resell access to the Service;
- circumvent plan limits, credit accounting, or free-plan restrictions (including by creating multiple accounts);
- upload malware or content that is defamatory, infringing, or violates the rights of others;
- interfere with the operation or security of the Service.
7.2We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.
8.
Termination
8.1By you. You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in Settings → Account. Deletion follows the recovery window and retention rules described in the Privacy Policy.
8.2By us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. If we terminate without cause in the middle of a paid period, we will refund the unused portion of that period pro-rata.
8.3Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Your content licences already exercised, Disclaimers, Limitation of liability, and Governing law) survive.
9.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
9.1The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate or suitable for any particular funder.
9.2To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in that period. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost funding opportunities, or lost data.
9.3Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10.
Changes to the Service and to these Terms
10.1We are continuously improving the Service and may add, change, or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces the core functionality of your paid plan, we will notify you in advance.
10.2We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will notify you by email and in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. Changes are never applied retroactively to your disadvantage for a period you have already paid for.
11.
Governing law and disputes
11.1These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
11.2Before bringing any formal claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and give us 30 days to try to resolve the issue informally. Most issues are resolved this way.
